The Greenlight festival team will be coordinating the Eco Village at this year’s Riverside Festival (June 9th & 10th). The festival normally runs from late morning until about 5pm on Saturday (there is some early evening music) and during the day on the Sunday.

Saturday 9th June
Mini-beast Cycle Safari with Groundwork (on the half hour, every hour): 12.30, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm – cycle trip along the canal to Aylestone Meadows looking out for mini-beasts along the way.
Ruth Singer Studio: Ruth is running a free drop-in sewing activity for all ages (all day)
Transition Leicester: creative purse and windmill making, swap shop (all day)
Transition Deli (AKA café): organic nosh, and very good too! (all day)
Creative Problem Solvers: make fabulous accessories from old tyres (all day)
Draw Your Environment: drawing competition for 6-10 year olds (all day)
Friends of the Earth – the bee campaign, bee friendly plants and child friendly art (all day)
Kamalangi Costello: Indian Head Massage (all day)
Cargoes project : make your own bunting (all day)
Cycle Cultures conference talks and interactive conversations: 1pm Bicyclcology; 2pm Bike It; 3pm Cycle Champions; 4pm Led Rides; 5pm Community Media
Plant sale by the Ecohouse (all day or until the plants run out!)
